Fountains are among the most favorite and primary attractions anywhere else in the world. Fountains are usually built and located on the center of cities and towns although not all towns and cities have fountains.

1.) Wroclaw Fountain – Poland


The captivating Wrocław Multimedia Fountain or more popularly known as the Wrocław Fountain is a multimedia fountain located within in the Pergola next to Centennial Hall in Wroclaw. This fountain is one of the largest with an area of one-hectare it incorporates around 300 jets that create a screen of water for animation display. There are also 800 lights. During winter, the fountain is utilized as an ice skating rink.

2.) Fountain of Wealth – Singapore


The astonishing Fountain of Wealth in Singapore is recognized by the Guinness World Records as the world’s largest fountain in 1998. This amazing architectural piece is located in Suntec City, one of the largest shopping malls in Singapore.

The fountain is turned off during certain time of the day but during the night, it is set for laser performances and "live" song and laser message dedications between 8pm to 9pm every day.

3.) Centennial Olympic Park Fountain – USA


Centennial Olympic Park Fountain is a beautifully impressive fountain in an 85,000 m² public park in Atlanta, Georgia. The park, including the fountain was built for the Centennial 1996 Summer Olympics.

4.) Dizengoff Square Fountain – Israel


Dizengoff Square Fountain is an amazing fountain in Zina Dizengoff Square, an iconic public square in the industrial center of Israel – the city of Tel Aviv. The fountain was erected in the middle of the square during in the 1970s and was replaced in 1986 with Yaacov Agam’s now landmark kinetic sculpture fountain.

5.) Moonlight Rainbow Fountain: Banpo BridgeSouth Korea


One of the most fantastic fountains in the world is the Moonlight Rainbow Fountain in South Korea. The fountain is the longest bridge fountain in the world. Completed in 2009, according to Guinness World Records, the fountain set 10,000 LED nozzles that run along both sides that are 1,140m long, shooting out 190 tons of water per minute and shoots as far as 43 meters horizontally.

6.) Trafalgar Square LED Fountain – UK


This new LED fountains of Trafalgar Square in London, England, is an amazing display of colors. It was opened in 2009 and is situated in the heart of London and is one of the city’s tourist attractions.

7.) St. Petersburg Fountain – Russia


St. Petersburg Fountain is located in the Neva River in St. Petersburg, Moscow. This awesomely beautiful and fascinating fountain is a “musical fountain” like the Dubai Fountain in the United Arab Emirates.

8.) Xinghai Plaza Fountain – China


This beautiful fountain is part of Xinghai Square or Xinghai Plaza, the city square of Dalian City, China. It is located in Xinghai Bay and was built in 1994. For 10 days in late July-early August, Xinghai Square holds the annual International Beer Festival.

9.) Jet d’Au Fountain – Switzerland


Jet d'Eau Fountain is a huge fountain in Geneva and is one of the most popular landmarks of the city. This fascinating structure is one of the world’s largest fountains with 500 liters of water per second being jet at a height of 140 meters. It is visible throughout the city and can bee seen even when flying over Geneva at an altitude of 10 km or 33,000 ft.

10.) Unisphere – United States


The Unisphere is a 12-story high, spherical stainless steel representation of the Earth. This spectacular landmark is even more impressive with the fountains surrounding it. It is located in Flushing Meadows – Corona Park in Queens, New York City. Unisphere is one of Queens’ most iconic and enduring symbols.
