The Colubrine Sea Krait is a sea snake species that can be found in the tropical waters of Pacific and Indian Oceans. Although they live mainly in the sea, these Banded Sea Krait need to drink freshwater and regularly come onto land. They are often seen in huge numbers in the company of hunting parties of Goatfish and Giant Trevally. It is also informally known as Banded Sea Krait or Yellow-lippedSeaKrait.
