The site is remarkably famous all over the world because it is the largest flower garden in the world. The park has an area of 32 hectares and is planted with 7 million flower bulbs annually.
The garden is located in the town of Lisse, South Holland. Accessible by bus from the trainstations of Haarlem, Leiden and Schiphol, it is open every year from the last week of March to mid-May. It is also known as the Garden of Europe.
