  1. In Roman mythology, Jupiter or Jove is the supreme god. He’s the king of the gods and the god of the sky and thunder

2.      The largest planet on the Solar system was named after him.

3.      He is in charge of all atmospheric conditions and had many special functions.

4.      He is called Optimus Maximus – the Best and Greatest and was worshipped as god of the state in his temple at the Capitoline Hill in Rome.

5.      He directed the course of human affairs and revealed the future events by producing omens in the heavens.

6.      The color of the day is white and this is sacred to Jupiter. His priest wore white robes and only white animals were sacrificed to him. White horses drew his chariot.
