Here’s my "Mother’s Day" article for 2011. It is about the greatest and most amazing mothers in the world.

Mothers are amongst the most important people in the world. Mothers are highly respected and honored. As a matter of fact, a special day in the calendar is allocated for the mothers – “Mothers Day”.

In the animal world, some mothers are truly fascinating and amazing. Here’s a list of the most awesome and peculiar mothers in the animal kingdom.

1.) Plum Tree Aphid

The Plum Tree Aphid takes only 4.7 days after its birth to produce its own offspring without the benefit of sexual intercourse. Female Aphids give birth to daughters who give birth to more daughters.
