Caffeinate your kitchen

If you like coffee - and have lived a long life - you propably have some old coffeepots and grinders lying aroud in the attic. Well, now's the time to bring them back, dust and polish, and set out in the place of honor.

Speaking of coffee, what's your favourite coffeemaker? The traditional copper pot (like anyone really has these anymore), or an electrical, chip-controlled, $$$-costing piece of the lates hardware? Here's some other contestant to choose from.

The percolator, old and faitful(?). The percolator takes a lot of room and is terribly noisy to use. The coffee, however, is so different, that it makes for a nice change.

The French Press. This device makes little noise, doesn't require electricity and takes little space. However, I don't have the patience to let the water sit in the pot for long enough, and the press system often lets some of grinds through. The taste is very traditional.

The Moka pot. This is a classic. Most suitable for the strongest Espressos, but the preparation amount is fixed, so you might end up having a bunch of these in different sizes. The Moka pot treats the grinds right: with heat and pressure.

And now I feel like having a cup of coffee :)
